Why train your puppy?

Having your dog properly trained while he’s still a puppy will save you a lot of trouble and make your life so much easier after he grows up. Also, it could be very beneficial to the life-long happiness of your dog. Why?

Well, just like human beings, puppies feel proud of the knowledge and skills they acquire. Untrained puppies and dogs are seldom as happy as the trained ones. Surely you don’t want your puppy to be unhappy, do you?

When your puppy is praised because he behaves well or executes a command correctly, you can see that he gets greater satisfaction than he does from the brief excitement of disobeying, which is usually followed by signs of feeling guilty (such as ears back and avoiding eye contact), even though you are not punishing him.

So if you want your puppy grows up to become a well-mannered, obedient, confident and happy dog, then it is important to start training your puppy as soon as he is brought home, whether it’s toilet training or basic obedience training.
